ShasYomi facilitates collective daily study of the Talmud, enabling our global community to complete the entire Talmud together each day. We provide resources, track progress, and foster connections among learners worldwide.

Eligibility and Account Registration

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use ShasYomi. Users under 18 should have parental consent.

Account Responsibility

• Maintain the security of your account credentials

• You are responsible for all activities under your account

Platform Use and Community Guidelines

Acceptable Use

You agree to use ShasYomi for its intended purpose: Torah learning and community building. You may:

• Select and study assigned Talmud sections
• Track your learning progress
• Participate in community discussions respectfully
• Share insights and ask questions about your learning
• Dedicate your learning in memory or honor of others

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other community members
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or disrespectful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the platform's operation or other users' experience
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent limitations
• Use automated tools to access or interact with the platform

Learning Commitments and Assignments

Daily Learning

• You may select up to 2 amudim or 1 complete daf per day
• Assignments reset daily and can be changed as needed
• We encourage consistent daily learning but understand life circumstances vary
• Progress tracking is for personal motivation and community statistics

Community Responsibility

While we strive for complete daily coverage of the Talmud, we understand that participation may vary. Your commitment helps ensure comprehensive coverage and supports the entire community's learning goals.

Content and Intellectual Property

Our Content

ShasYomi provides curated learning resources, platform features, and community tools. Our original content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Third-Party Resources

We link to external resources (Sefaria, audio shiurim, etc.) for your convenience. These resources are governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

User-Generated Content

When you share insights, dedications, or other content on our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute that content for platform operation and community benefit.

Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using ShasYomi, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

Platform Availability and Changes

Service Availability

• We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
